Project Title: Power Point – Lesson Plan – Science Bacteria or Virus

Project Focus: USING TECHNOLOGY (Focus 1)

Project Description: The project is a power point. This lesson plan will help teachers create a lesson plan using Power Point. The teacher will be able to create the power point during training. It is to show teachers how easy and beneficial using technology can be in a classroom. This less is important because it will provide teachers with hands on and direct instruction for those who fit into the laggar status of technology. I chose a power point presentation with a simplistic science lesson so that the innovators and laggars could learn information and utilize technology in their classrooms. I expect to learn how to motivate the innovator and inspire the laggar.

Project Timeline: Start date will be January 29, 2007. February 22nd I will post lesson plan. The project will be completed by March 15, 2007.


Using technology to increase accuracy in the classroom is still being researched. Students are learning through many programs how to study independently, and assess their work. Students working at their own pace and monitor their development in learning are scoring higher than their counterparts in a classroom taking a written test (cite will be supplied at a later time). Kids enjoy using computers and other technology. Even if they are increasing their academic performance they certainly are increasing their technological comprehension and use of a variety of equipment, data, programs, applications and they are developing new uses of technology. In Japan they have developed a ROBOT to pick-up and move patients around, in America we have a round flat vaccuum cleaner. Using the ROBOT will decrease the amount of workers incurring back injuries from patients' weight; the vacuum cleaner may produce more obese people, since it will increase physical inactivity.

I have been sending notes to my colleagues (again as I stated in communicating with others) using publisher. This form of technology is not only communicating with others it is supporting technology and showing others how simple using these means regularly increases the ease in its production of artifacts.
